For well-rounded junior golf development, we recommend a mix of several types of programs:
- The First Tee: Participants learn to play the game, build life skills, and plan for the future.
- Private Instruction: Juniors develop technique through repetitive motion.
- Competition: Organizations like SNEDs Tour and PGA Junior League provide great experience.
There’s some outstanding golf instruction in the Tri-Cities. In addition to coaching classes for The First Tee and leading PGA Junior League teams, these PGA Professionals give hundreds of private lessons each year. Students active in The First Tee receive a common rate of 4 lessons for $120 (30min).
